Lecturer – Criminology
Location: East Sussex Hourly Rate: £35 - £43 Job Type: Temporary, Ongoing cover Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Criminology to provide ongoing cover at our Hastings campus, Station Plaza. This role requires the ability to deliver up to Level 3 Criminology. The ideal candidate will be flexible, ready to start immediately, and committed to providing high-quality education.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and informative Criminology lessons up to Level 3. Prepare lesson plans and educational materials based on the curriculum requirements. Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment for all students. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
Draft Timetable:
Session 1: 9:30 - 10:30 Session 2: 10:45 - 12:15 Session 3: 13:15 - 14:45 Session 4: 15:00 - 16:30
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in teaching Criminology up to Level 3. Relevant academic qualifications in Criminology or a related field. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds. Flexibility in handling a changing timetable and teaching assignments.
