Job Title: Locum Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian
Location: Surrey Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Hourly Rate: £25 - £27 Working Hours: Full-time
Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian to join the community team with our client in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive community setting, managing a diverse and rewarding paediatric caseload across clinics, special schools, and patients’ homes.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality dietetic care to children and families, supporting a range of complex needs while working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied community paediatric caseload across multiple settings.
Provide nutritional support to Home Enteral Feeding (HEF) patients.
Assess and treat complex feeding issues, including ARFID and CMPA.
Deliver clinics and carry out domiciliary visits.
Work collaboratively with families, schools, and healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Have experience working as a paediatric dietitian at Band 6 level or equivalent.
Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge in paediatric nutrition and feeding difficulties.
Ideally have experience in a community setting.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
