We are looking for a commercially focused Commercial Project Manager to join our Inutec team, managing a portfolio of complex nuclear, engineering and environmental projects. This role is ideal for a Project Manager, Contract Manager, Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager looking to combine project delivery with strong commercial ownership. Acting as the bridge between commercial and technical teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and in line with client requirements. In return, you'll have the opportunity to develop into a broader Technical Project Manager role within a highly regulated and growing sector.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of projects from contract award through to completion.
- Leading change control, contract variations and compensation events while protecting project margins.
- Identifying and managing scope creep to ensure contractual entitlement is maintained.
- Acting as the key link between clients, operations, laboratory teams and technical stakeholders.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and against commercial objectives.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience in Project Management, Contract Management, Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or a similar role.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing contracts, variations, change control or compensation events.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience delivering projects within nuclear, engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy, process or other highly regulated environments.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across commercial, operational and technical teams.
Desirable skills
- Experience working under NEC contracts.
- PRINCE2, APM or other Project Management qualification.
- Experience within the nuclear, environmental, waste management or decommissioning sectors.
