Band 6 Locum General Radiographer Band: 6 Location: Nottingham Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: £26.00 Shift: 37.5 per week
About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 General Radiographer to join our team in Nottingham for a three-month period. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to the delivery of high-quality imaging services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 General Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general radiographic procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards. You will prepare patients for imaging, operate advanced radiographic equipment, and collaborate closely with the medical team to provide accurate diagnostic support. Your role will involve maintaining patient records, ensuring quality control of equipment, and contributing to the continuous improvement of radiographic services within the department.
What we are looking for in a Radiographer:
HCPC registration as a Radiographer
Experience in general radiography
Knowledge of imaging techniques, protocols, and safety standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to patient care and safety
Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and shifts
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
