Job Title: Locum Cath Lab Cardiac Physiologist Banding: Band 6 Location: Aberdeen Working Hours: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Rate: £45 - £50 per hour Duration: Ongoing
The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Cath Lab Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering a competitive hourly rate of £45-£50.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will perform core duties including Angiography (Angio), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), and Pressure Wire (PW) assessments. You will assist with pacing implant procedures. You will support structural heart procedures, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), if experienced (not essential).
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
Strong clinical skills and experience in cardiac pacing and device management.
Relevant qualifications and experience as a Cardiac Physiologist.
IBHRE or BHRS accreditation is essential.
Proficiency in Angio, PCI, IVUS, and PW.
Experience in pacing implants and structural procedures (TAVI) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Desirable:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to patient care and safety.
