The Production Technician Role: As a Production Technician, you'll be responsible for assembling high-quality products while supporting the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Working closely with the engineering team, you'll help ensure products are built, tested and delivered to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling, testing, packaging and preparing products for dispatch
- Building prototypes, production tooling and test equipment
- Supporting the testing and validation of new products and features
- Maintaining workshop equipment, calibration records and a safe, organised working environment
- Helping improve production processes to maximise quality and efficiency
- Working collaboratively with engineers to solve technical challenges and support new product development
What We're Looking For: You'll ideally have:
- Experience assembling electronic and/or mechanical products in a manufacturing or production environment
- An understanding of manufacturing methods and production processes
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Basic PC skills (Windows and/or Linux)
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- MRP or production planning systems
- Specialist production or assembly techniques
- Experience working within a high-performing manufacturing environment
