The Business We are seeking a talented Accountant to join a growing organisation with a collaborative culture and a strong focus on operational excellence. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial guidance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring high-quality financial reporting. The Role
Producing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end processes Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities Delivering accurate financial and operational reporting Monitoring cash-related activities and payment processes Providing financial insight and challenge to non-finance stakeholders Attending management and review meetings to support commercial decision-making Contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting
Background You will ideally be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), although experienced part-qualified candidates will also be considered.
Strong management and financial accounting experience Experience of month-end close, budgeting and forecasting Excellent Excel and systems skills Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders A proactive, analytical and commercially aware approach The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
