Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor who will take full commercial responsibility for commercial and administrative matters on residential construction projects. The role covers cost planning, procurement, contract administration, valuations, and financial control from pre-construction through to final account. The successful candidate will work as a key member in the construction arm to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, with robust commercial governance and proactive management of main contractors and subcontractors. The successful candidate will also have an active role at a strategic level in the expansion of Gemonarch’s construction division.
The role will predominantly be site based with regular reporting at our head office in Central London.

Prepare and maintain detailed project cost plans and budgets. Benchmark costs and provide early-stage commercial input during design development. Provide initial cost estimates to assist with asset underwriting. Monitor expenditure against budget, forecasting cost-to-complete and identifying variances. Provide monthly commercial reports to the Project Director.

Draft and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with Gemonarch Developments’ commercial standards. Maintain procurement schedules and ensure timely appointment of all packages.
