3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer (6 Month FTC)
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire (Hybrid Working)
Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Marshall Wolfe is partnering with Moto Hospitality to recruit an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Remediation Engineer for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly technical infrastructure professional with a strong security and remediation background. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving cyber resilience across a large, complex estate, working on vulnerability remediation, infrastructure hardening, patch management and operational security improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a senior 3rd line technical specialist across infrastructure, applications and networks Investigate and remediate security vulnerabilities across Microsoft and Cisco environments Deliver server, endpoint and application patching activities Support Cisco networking, NAC, VLAN and access control initiatives Improve CMDB accuracy, asset visibility and service mapping Produce technical documentation, evidence packs and remediation plans Work closely with suppliers, service teams and stakeholders to drive remediation activity to completion
Experience Required
Strong 3rd line infrastructure engineering background Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune expertise Knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Nessus or Microsoft Defender Experience with patch management and security remediation programmes Understanding of Cisco networking technologies, VLANs and NAC principles Familiarity with ITSM, CMDB and change management processes
Desirable Experience
Retail, hospitality or multi-site environments Cisco ISE and network access control solutions PowerShell scripting and automation PCI DSS compliance environments Freshservice or similar ITSM platforms
This role would suit an experienced infrastructure engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, hardening environments and delivering measurable security improvements within a large-scale organisation.
