Staff Nurse - Outpatients
Full Time(40hrs) - Permanent - Orpington
We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and energetic nurse to join our Outpatients department as a Staff Nurse.
As a staff nurse in our outpatient department you will be responsible for providing consistently high standards of care and support to our patients over a wide range of specialities including orthopaedics, dermatology, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology and more.
You will be a strong and empathetic Registered Nurse who has the ability to build a rapport with your patients in a short period of time, deliver outstanding care, lead and implement change and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
The shift pattern will be working Monday to Saturday between .
Role Responsibilities include:
Demonstrating outstanding clinical practice at all times Working within a multi-disciplinary team led by a supportive senior nursing team Plan, implement and deliver a holistic patient centred care to a group of patients Maintaining accurate patient records utilising the most up to date evidenced based care and guidelines Working to develop a strong, effective team by developing the vision and strategy of "health care at its best"
Person Specification:
Be a Registered Nurse (RN RGN). Experience in a healthcare setting. Experience undertaking the following: wound care, phlebotomy, minor ops and gynae/urology procedures is desirable but training can be given to the right candidate. To be patient focussed, with a desire and proven ability to deliver healthcare at its best. Have knowledge of clinical governance and its application along with evidence of continuous professional development. To be confident in building relationships with the ability to easily engage with others including consultants, colleagues and patients.
