Dental Laboratory Manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dental Laboratory Manager to lead a well-established dental laboratory in Buckinghamshire. This role is ideal for a senior Dental Technician with strong restorative experience who is ready to take the next step into laboratory leadership or an existing Laboratory Manager looking for a fresh challenge.
You’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring exceptional quality standards, supporting the technical team, and helping drive the continued growth of the business.
The Role
As Laboratory Manager, you will:
Lead and motivate the laboratory team to deliver consistently outstanding work.
Oversee the restorative workflow, ensuring cases are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain the highest standards of quality control across all laboratory departments.
Support and develop technicians through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
Manage workflow planning, productivity and resource allocation.
Work closely with clinicians and customers to ensure excellent service and technical support.
Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes and efficiencies.
Contribute to the commercial success of the laboratory by supporting business growth and client relationships.
About You
To be considered, you should have:
Previous experience as a Dental Technician with strong restorative knowledge.
Experience managing or supervising a laboratory team, or the ambition and leadership skills to step into a management role.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A hands-on approach with a strong eye for quality and attention to detail.
The ability to motivate a team and maintain a positive working environment.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of laboratory operations.
Salary & Benefits
£50,000 basic salary
Performance bonus with realistic OTE of £75,000+
Bonus Structure
Earn £5,000 for every £50,000 in gross sales generated from new or existing business.
Bonuses are paid quarterly.
Realistic earnings of £75,000+ for high performers.
Long-Term Incentive
Following five years’ service, there is the opportunity to participate in an equity scheme, with full details discussed during the interview process.
