Electronics Design Engineer
Great Yarmouth
£50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Service Service is recruiting for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join an established engineering business developing specialist electronic systems for marine and offshore applications.
This is a hands-on design role covering electronic circuit design, prototyping, PCB development, testing and troubleshooting. You’ll work closely with other engineers to develop innovative products from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and prototype electronic circuits and systems Develop and integrate electronics into larger products Support PCB design, simulation and layout Produce technical documentation, test specifications and procedures Test, troubleshoot and resolve electronic design issues Work within ISO 9001 quality processes Collaborate with engineers across design and development Keep up to date with developments in electronic engineering
About You
Degree or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Strong understanding of electronic circuit design Experience with circuit design, simulation and PCB layout software Experience programming MCU and PIC devices Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Desirable Experience
C or C# programming DSP or FPGA development Analogue and RF circuit design Acoustic systems, ideally underwater Strong mathematical or physics background
