We are seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our academic team at a reputable institution in Southwest London. This full-time position involves teaching students from Level 1 to Level 3. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with a passion for educating and developing future professionals in this vital sector.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions across Levels 1 to 3 in Health and Social Care. Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, to ensure they meet the latest educational standards and industry requirements. Assess and evaluate students' progress through coursework, practical assessments, and exams. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and overall progress. Provide academic support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their educational and career goals. Stay updated with current trends and developments in the health and social care sector to enhance the learning experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field. Proven experience as a lecturer or teacher in Health and Social Care, with familiarity teaching Levels 1 to 3. Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment methods for Health and Social Care education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring students.
