They are seeking a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis, helping deliver long-term, sustainable value to clients through high-quality accounting services.
Your New Role As part of the expanding and successful Financial Reporting team, your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing financial reports and preparing more complex financial accounting within your portfolio. Preparing and reviewing consolidation models and disclosures for limited companies and groups. Researching complex technical accounting areas and regulatory requirements, contributing to the development of client solutions. Developing your experience of advisory service provision, working across national teams on large group and international clients. Engaging with clients to understand their commercial environment and supporting them through project work and process improvements. Supporting and developing junior team members, reviewing their work, and providing training on role-related tasks.
What You'll Need to Succeed
ACA, ACCA (newly or nearly qualified), or an equivalent qualification, with demonstrable knowledge of FRS 102, IFRS, and UK corporate taxation. A proactive, confident approach with the ability to build strong client relationships and act as a trusted professional adviser. Experience as a trainee accountant or audit senior, delivering statutory accounts, accounting services, or audit, with the ability to research technical accounting matters. Knowledge of financial products, regulations, AML, and technology (including AI) as they relate to accounting services.
