Retail Business Analyst
6 Month Initial Contract Inside IR35 London. 3 days per week on site
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of business and technology change within a retail environment.
This is a hands on role working closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering teams and business stakeholders to shape, refine and deliver business requirements across a range of initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Gather, analyse and validate business requirements. Challenge and refine requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with business goals. Create user stories and support backlog refinement activities. Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions. Work closely with Product Owners to translate business needs into deliverable outcomes. Build strong relationships across business and technology teams. Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions and gaps in requirements. Support process analysis, process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives. Help drive consensus and secure stakeholder sign off.
Required experience
Proven Business Analyst experience within Agile delivery environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience working with Product Owners and delivery teams. User story creation and backlog management experience. Strong requirements elicitation and workshop facilitation skills. Experience managing ambiguity and bringing structure to complex problems. Strong business process analysis and process mapping skills. Experience using Jira, Confluence and Miro.
This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile Business Analyst who is comfortable operating across the full analysis lifecycle and enjoys working in a fast paced retail environment.
