Managing Quantity Surveyor £85K - £95K + Benefits Hatfield
We are working with a leading Social Housing Regeneration Contractor to recruit an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. Based their Hatfield head office, you'll oversee the commercial performance of a major project or portfolio of projects across London and the South East.
Projects are a mix of high-profile refurbishment, regeneration and new-build projects across the South East.
This is a senior role where you'll take responsibility for maximising profitability, managing commercial and contractual risk, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing strong commercial leadership across the business.
Managing Quantity Surveyor
Lead the commercial management of a major project or portfolio of projects Maximise profitability and manage commercial and contractual risk Ensure accurate forecasting and financial reporting Support the Regional Board in identifying and mitigating commercial risks Manage key contractual matters, including JCT, NEC and PPC contracts Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams Promote high standards of commercial performance and SHEQ compliance
Managing Quantity Surveyor Experience
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification Significant experience in a senior Quantity Surveying role Strong main contractor commercial experience Experience with JCT, NEC and/or PPC contracts Excellent commercial, numerical, negotiation and communication skills Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Full UK driving licence
