IT Project Coordinator
Location: Staines-Upon-Thames, Surrey (3 days a week onsite) Job Type: Full-time Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
A new exciting IT Project Coordinator position has become available, to support the successful delivery of IT projects through effective coordination, documentation, stakeholder communication, and adherence to governance standards. This role is crucial in ensuring that all project activities are aligned with our project management methodology to achieve timely and successful outcomes.
Day-to-day of the role:
Coordinate project activities to support the IT Project Managers in successful project delivery. Schedule and support project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, timelines, and budgets, including managing additional budget approvals. Track progress against milestones, highlight risks, issues, and dependencies, and identify risk mitigation actions. Coordinate project communications and updates to ensure all stakeholders are informed. Assist with resource coordination, financial tracking, and procurement activities. Ensure all project information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to stakeholders. Prepare business cases, impact analyses, and cost-benefit analyses for specified projects. Support post-project reviews to document lessons learned. Create test scripts, perform testing, and support problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle. Develop training materials, train, and support key users throughout the project lifecycle and post go-live. Assist in system integrations and testing activities, demonstrating an understanding of data flows and related business processes. Document business requirements for the project, including process and data flow maps.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT project coordination or a similar role. Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in creating and managing detailed project documentation and reports. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with system integrations, data flow understanding, and business process documentation.
