A growing business based in Wolverhampton is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the finance function for two subsidiaries, producing monthly management accounts, consolidating financial information and preparing board reports for senior leadership. This is a fully office-based role and would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with the wider business and playing a key role in financial decision-making. There is also genuine scope to develop and progress within the business over the long term as the company continues to grow.
Ideally you will;
Have experience producing full monthly management accounts from start to finish. Have experience producing consolidated management accounts across multiple entities. Be confident preparing board packs, financial reports and providing meaningful commentary. Have experience with balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals. Have strong Excel skills and be confident analysing variances, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow. Be proactive, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
