We Do Group are partnering with a fast-growing software business to recruit a Management Accountant into their FP&A team.

This is a fast-growth software business with an ambitious and commercially focused finance team.
The business is continuing to develop, and finance plays an important role in supporting that growth. It’s an environment where good ideas are welcomed and there’s plenty of opportunity to improve reporting, automate processes and make the numbers more useful to the wider business.
You’ll be joining a small but high-impact FP&A team, giving you plenty of visibility and the opportunity to work closely with senior finance stakeholders.
The Role!
This is a broad Management Accountant role with real ownership.
You’ll take responsibility for the end-to-end production of the management accounts, while also getting involved in reporting, budgeting, forecasting and continuous improvement.
There’s a really nice balance between getting the fundamentals right and having the freedom to improve processes, reporting and controls.
You’ll also have responsibility for managing and developing one member of the team, so it’s a good opportunity for someone who either already has management experience or is ready to take that next step.
You'll be responsible for:
End-to-end production of the monthly management accounts Preparing and reviewing management accounts across the Group Consolidated management accounts Balance sheet reconciliations Monthly Board and Executive reporting Producing insightful reporting across different areas of the business Developing P&L reporting by function, department and product Working with key stakeholders to improve the quality of financial information Supporting budgeting and forecasting Providing management information to senior stakeholders Improving reporting processes, controls and reporting quality Using systems, data and automation to make finance more efficient Reducing and improving the month-end reporting timetable Managing and developing one member of the finance team
