Are you passionate about Maths and committed to helping students build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed?
What you'll do
Teach Maths to students across relevant programmes and levels. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support student learning and achievement. Monitor, assess and report on student progress. Develop resources and activities to enhance students’ understanding of Maths. Maintain accurate registers and student records. Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance activities. Keep up to date with developments in Maths and teaching practice. Support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What we're looking for
A degree in Maths /related subject or equivalent working experience A full Level 5 teaching qualification, or be currently working towards one. Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths. Level 2 ICT qualification, or willingness to undertake the required qualification. In-depth knowledge of Maths to support teaching at Level 2 and 3. Knowledge and understanding of coursework requirements and assessment. Good IT and presentation skills, including the ability to use interactive whiteboards. Excellent organisation and time management skills. The ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a supportive team. A commitment to professional development, equality and safeguarding.
