CARE ASSISTANTS WANTED – BRISTOL & SWINDON
£14.43 PER HOUR
Location: Bristol and Swindon
Job Type: Agency / Temporary / Flexible
Shifts: Days, Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays
Pay: Weekly Pay
Hours: Flexible, subject to availability and client requirements
We are currently recruiting caring, reliable and compassionate Care Assistants to join our healthcare agency team, supporting residents in care homes, nursing homes and residential care settings across Bristol and Swindon.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing person-centred care and support to residents.
- Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Supporting residents with mobility, transfers and repositioning.
- Assisting with eating, drinking and daily activities.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Reporting changes in residents' health and wellbeing to senior staff.
- Maintaining accurate care records and daily notes.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures.
- Working professionally with nurses, senior carers and care home teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous care experience is desirable.
- Caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Willingness to work day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Relevant care training or qualifications are desirable.
- Enhanced DBS may be required, depending on the placement.
