Senior Data Architect - Databricks - London - Permanent - Hybrid - Up to £110,000
Are you a Databricks expert looking to take ownership of enterprise-scale data architecture and drive a major cloud transformation programme?
We're looking for a Senior Databricks Architect to lead the design of enterprise-scale data solutions that will power real-time analytics, critical business decisions and next-generation data products. This is a highly visible role where you'll influence architecture strategy, champion engineering best practices and drive the adoption of modern data technologies across a complex organisation.
This role offers genuine architectural ownership, exposure to complex enterprise challenges and the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that directly influence business outcomes.
The Role
Design and implement real-time data ingestion. Develop robust data solutions in Databricks. Lead the adoption of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Design and deliver reusable, high-quality data products aligned to Data Mesh principles. Ensure data quality, governance, security and reliability across the data estate. Partner with business, domain and platform teams to enable data-driven decision making.
Skills & Experience
Extensive experience using Databricks. Strong understanding of Data Lake architectures. Strong knowledge around modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Legacy integration experience. Knowledge around Data governance processes.
