This is an expanding and recognised restaurant & hospitality group based in central London. They are an award winning group, Michelin-starred, with core locations across London serving high-quality British cuisines.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a recently qualified Finance Manager to join their finance department. This position would be based full-time in office.
Role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial management of the business, whilst supporting with financial insights and strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the production of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis Ensure robust financial controls, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting Produce insightful financial commentary and support senior stakeholders with key business decisions Oversee year-end activities, including audit preparation and liaison with external auditors Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax obligations, and internal governance standards Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and improve business performance Manage, mentor, and develop junior finance team members Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Profile
The ideal profile for this Finance Manager position based in central London, should have the following attributes:
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA, CIMA) Strong ownership of month-end procedures and production of management accounts Restaurants/Hospitality background strongly preferred Good commercial acumen, and ability to business partner Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with Xero Ability to operate within a fast-paced & small team environment
