We are currently recruiting two experienced Chefs for a 3-month temporary assignment based in Lincoln City Centre . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with fresh ingredients in a busy catering environment, with the added benefit of a fantastic Monday to Friday, daytime schedule .

Role: Chef Location: Lincoln City Centre Contract Type: Temporary Start Date: 1st September 2026 End Date: 18th December 2026 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Key Responsibilities
As a Chef, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking high-quality meals using fresh ingredients Maintaining consistent standards of food quality, presentation, and taste Producing large-volume meals through efficient batch cooking methods Catering for a variety of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options Preparing food for general catering services and conference events Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
Have previous chef experience within a catering, restaurant, pub, or hospitality environment Have experience in high-volume food preparation and service Work well as part of a team and can thrive in a fast-paced kitchen Possess a good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards Are reliable, organised, and able to maintain high standards under pressure
Previous pub experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Food Safety & Compliance
You will be expected to:
Follow food hygiene and HACCP regulations at all times Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment Ensure correct food storage, labelling, and temperature control procedures are followed Complete all required food safety checks and documentation accurately
