A dynamic and modern Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Civil Engineer to join and help lead their growing Exeter office. This is a senior leadership position offering significant influence over project delivery, team development, and strategic direction/delivery within the Civils department. This role could be your perfect fit. The Role: As an Associate Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in both project management and business development. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage key client relationships, oversee high-quality technical delivery, and mentor engineers at various stages of their careers. Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of complex civil engineering projects across multiple sectors Oversee detailed design of infrastructure, drainage, and highway schemes Manage and develop client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service Line-manage and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and accountability Support business development and contribute to proposals and bids Work closely with directors to support the strategic growth of the Civils division
