Quantity Surveyor
A well-established and highly regarded residential developer is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its Commercial team, nr Chester
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of high-quality residential developments, supporting the commercial delivery of projects from inception through to final account. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost control, subcontract management, valuations, forecasting and reporting, while working closely with operational and finance teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably
The Role
Scheduling and quantifying materials and labour Managing subcontractor accounts, payments and variations Producing valuations, CVRs and cost-to-complete reports Monitoring project budgets and reporting on cost movement Assisting with WIP and cashflow forecasting Maintaining commercial systems and project records Attending site meetings and carrying out regular site visits Supporting the preparation and management of development budgets Ensuring commercial procedures and processes are followed throughout project delivery
About You
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role Strong understanding of construction costs, budgets and forecasting Strong IT skills and commercial awareness Excellent numerical, negotiation and organisational skills Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities Professional, motivated and ambitious
