Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge, or an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career?
As Liberty continues to grow, we're looking for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor or ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our South region team. Based from our Reading office, you'll play a key role in delivering a varied portfolio of renewable energy installation projects across the South of England.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a forward-thinking organisation delivering sustainable solutions for housing association clients, including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), Solar PV, Ventilation Systems and other renewable technologies.

The Role
As part of our Commercial team, you'll help manage the financial and contractual performance of renewable energy installation projects from inception through to final account.
Depending on your experience level, responsibilities will include:
Assist with or manage the commercial and contractual delivery of multiple renewable energy projects Support project teams to ensure commercial compliance and maximise profitability Prepare valuations, cost reports and financial forecasts Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts Support procurement activities and tender evaluations Monitor project costs and maximise value across contracts Support cash flow management and financial reporting Attend client, contractor and stakeholder meetings Help resolve commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle Build strong working relationships across operational and commercial teams
What We're Looking For
We're open to applications from both Assistant Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors.
You may have:
Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction, housing, building services, energy efficiency, planned maintenance or a related sector A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline (or be working towards one) Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop professionally A full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the South region
