Intermediate Electrical Engineer | Billericay, Essex | £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
We're working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy that is looking to appoint an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to its growing M&E team in Billericay.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Building Services Engineer looking to take greater ownership of projects, strengthen their client-facing experience and work across a diverse portfolio including commercial, education, defence and residential developments .
The role:
Deliver electrical building services designs from concept through to completion
Produce detailed designs, specifications, calculations and technical reports
Liaise directly with clients to establish project briefs and budget requirements
Review tenders and provide technical recommendations
Carry out site inspections, surveys and condition reports
Monitor projects throughout construction and installation
Work closely with Mechanical Engineers and other disciplines
Produce designs and documentation using Amtech, AutoCAD and Revit
What we're looking for:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
Previous experience within electrical building services design
Consultancy or multi-project experience preferred
Confident using AutoCAD, Revit and Amtech
Good understanding of UK building services standards and regulations
Comfortable communicating with clients, contractors and wider design teams
