Business Analyst
Mail Re-platforming & Transformation
Contract: 5 months initially
Location: Remote 1st - fortnightly meet
Rate: £450 per day - inside
Sector: Logistics / Mail / Warehousing
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major mail re-platforming and transformation programme following a large-scale merger.
Working closely with operational, technology and programme stakeholders, you’ll help define how mail operations, processes and supporting systems transition onto the new platform. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring someone who can move comfortably between detailed business analysis, operational change and workstream coordination.
Key responsibilities:
Map current-state mail and operational processes across the merged organisations Design future-state processes and identify gaps, dependencies and operational impacts Gather, document and manage business, system and operational requirements Facilitate workshops with operational teams, technology teams and senior stakeholders Support the re-platforming and migration of mail services and associated processes Translate complex operational requirements into clear deliverables for technical teams Support testing, business readiness, cutover and implementation activities Coordinate smaller workstreams and maintain delivery plans, risks, issues and dependencies Ensure new processes are fully documented and embedded across the operation
We’re looking for someone with:
Strong experience as a Business Analyst within complex transformation programmes Previous experience within logistics, warehousing, mail, parcel delivery or supply chain environments Experience of platform migrations, system implementations or re-platforming programmes Excellent process-mapping, requirements-gathering and gap-analysis skills Experience working across both technology and operational teams Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills An understanding of business readiness, testing, cutover and operational implementation The confidence to take ownership and drive a workstream forward when required Experience supporting merger, integration or organisational change programmes would be highly beneficial
This would suit a pragmatic and delivery-focused Business Analyst who understands that successful transformation is about more than producing documentation- it’s about helping operational teams move successfully from the current environment into a new way of working.
