Are you ready to put your stamp on one of the largest heavy civil engineering projects in Europe?
We are partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor and supporting them with their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a landmark infrastructure scheme in Central Birmingham. This is a career-defining role offering exposure to a complex, high-value and high profile project, and excellent work life balance and a structured career path to Managing QS level and beyond.
Key Responsibilities As a Senior QS, you will lead the commercial health of major work packages, focusing on:
NEC4 Contract Administration Leading CVRs, cost forecasting, and budget management. Leading the tender process and managing high-value sub-contractor accounts. Identifying commercial risks and implementing value engineering opportunities. Mentoring and developing a team of Assistant and Project Quantity Surveyors.
What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
A proven track record as a QS or Senior QS within Heavy Civils, Infrastructure, or Utilities. Deep familiarity with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts is essential. Based within a commutable distance of Central Birmingham, Coventry or Lichfield A desire to lead teams and drive commercial excellence on complex builds.
The Package
Starting salary of £60,000 - £75,000 £5,000 car allowance or premium electric/hybrid company car. 25-26 days + Bank Holidays (Option to buy 5 additional days). Private Healthcare Contributory pension.
