Architect, North Oxford, £35k - £50k DOE Please contact Sophie Randle at RGB Recruitment ASAP for more information! An established architectural practice in Oxfordshire is looking for an Architect to join thier team, working predominantly on complex healthcare refurbishment and fit-out projects within existing buildings . The role would suit someone who is technically strong, confident taking responsibility for their own workload and comfortable working with minimal supervision. Projects are typically fast paced and require close coordination with contractors and consultants, so strong attention to detail, Building Regulations knowledge and experience during the construction stages will be important. You’ll be involved from concept through to completion, with particular emphasis on RIBA Stages 4–5 , technical delivery and site coordination. The role will include:
Working on complex refurbishment and fit-out projects Producing detailed technical and construction drawing packages Taking projects from concept through to completion Coordinating closely with contractors, consultants and clients Attending site and responding to technical/construction queries Liaising with planning authorities where required Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards Producing and coordinating information using Revit Preparing specifications using NBS Create Working independently and managing your own workload with minimal supervision
The ideal candidate:
ARB registered Architect / Part III qualified Previous UK project experience A genuine interest in the healthcare sector Experience of refurbishment and/or fit-out projects Strong technical detailing and drawing ability Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations Experience across RIBA stages, particularly Stages 4–5 Comfortable coordinating with contractors on live projects Proficient in Revit is mandatory Experience using NBS Create Confident working independently within a fast-paced project environment
