Job Title: Mammographer Location: South Yorkshire Banding: Band 7 Start date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £30-31 per hour Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Mammographer to join our client’s team in South Yorkshire. This role involves performing mammographic examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of clients.
What will your responsibilities be:
The Band 7 Mammographer will be responsible for conducting mammographic screenings and diagnostic imaging, ensuring accurate and high-quality results. This role includes preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and addressing any concerns. The mammographer will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide comprehensive care. Maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols are essential to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant Mammography qualification
Registration with the appropriate professional body
Extensive experience in mammographic imaging
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
