Support Worker, Days and Waking Nights

Location: Liverpool WA7, across Starling Close and Dalwood Close and Lessingham Road WA8,

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Shifts: 8am to 8pm days and 8pm to 8am waking nights

Start date: Immediate starts available

Transforming Support is recruiting Support Workers across three supported living services in Liverpool. The roles involve supporting adults with a range of physical health, mental health, learning disability and complex support needs.

Opportunities are available across day shifts and waking nights at Lessingham Road, Starling Close and Dalwood Close.

The role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support that helps individuals live as independently, safely and confidently as possible.

The exact focus will vary by service:

Lessingham Road supports individuals with physical health needs, including epilepsy, Parkinson’s and dysphagia.

Dalwood Close supports individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge.

Starling Close provides similar support, with a strong focus on one-to-one care, clear documentation and medication administration.

Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting individuals with daily living activities Promoting independence, choice and dignity Building trusting and positive relationships Supporting people to access the community Helping individuals manage their health and wellbeing Supporting with medication in line with training and procedures Maintaining clear and accurate records Following safeguarding, health and safety and support plans Working closely with colleagues, families and other professionals Providing consistent support during day or waking night shifts
