An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEO Manager to join a leading global technology organisation and take ownership of organic search and emerging generative search activity across one of its flagship product categories.
Title: EMEA SEO Manager - 6 Month FTC Location: Central London (Hybrid working) Sector: Technology / Digital Day rate: £275/day - fulltime 35 hours a week This is a highly visible role for someone passionate about the future of search, combining SEO strategy, content optimisation, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), AI and analytics. You will play a key role in increasing organic visibility, shaping content strategy around evolving customer search behaviour and ensuring the brand remains highly visible across both traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms.
The Role:
As EMEA SEO Manager, you will develop and implement a content-focused SEO strategy designed to increase organic visibility, traffic and engagement across your assigned product category.
A key part of the role will be owning the organisation's GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) initiatives, helping to optimise content and entity signals to increase visibility and citations across platforms including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini .
You will work closely with content, UX and marketing teams to ensure SEO and GEO insights are translated into high-quality content and search-friendly digital experiences that support wider marketing and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a content-focused SEO strategy to improve organic visibility and drive traffic growth.
Own and develop GEO initiatives, optimising content and entity signals for visibility across AI-powered search platforms.
Conduct detailed keyword research and search intent analysis using tools including SEMRush, Adobe Analytics and Google Search Console.
Use AI tools and automation to accelerate and scale keyword research, content gap analysis, topical authority planning and reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve existing content and lead the development of new SEO and GEO-focused content.
Ensure content is aligned with customer needs, search intent and best-practice SEO methodologies.
Collaborate with content strategists, UX designers and wider marketing teams to develop search-friendly digital experiences.
Develop data-led hypotheses around content structure, search intent and visibility.
Analyse SEO and GEO performance, identify trends and provide recommendations to improve performance.
