Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, partnering with customers worldwide to bring life-changing medicines to market. As they continue to grow their Commercial team at the Grangemouth site, they're looking for a confident, client-focused Project Manager to take the reins on complex, high-value programmes.
You'll be the face of the business to your clients - the person they trust to deliver on time, on budget and on quality, from process and analytical development right through to GMP manufacture. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with Business Development, R&D, Operations, Quality and Finance, and you'll have real influence over how projects are shaped and delivered.
Please note, this role is hybrid only after probation period and on agreement with your manager.
What you'll be doing
Managing multiple concurrent projects - owning scope, critical path, timelines and financial milestones Acting as the primary point of contact for your clients, communicating openly on quality, budget and delivery, and bringing solutions, not just problems Building and maintaining project plans and RAID logs that set the standard for the wider team Spotting risk and scope creep early, and leading the conversations needed to manage them Tracking revenue forecasts and reporting milestone achievements to Finance Chairing team meetings, keeping accurate minutes, and making sure information flows both ways Mentoring colleagues and helping build a positive, high-performing team culture
What you'll bring
A bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline Formal project management training; PMP certification is a strong advantage A solid grounding in cGMP and commercial project delivery Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at every level, internal and external The organisational skill to juggle several live projects and shifting priorities without dropping the ball A self-starting, enthusiastic approach - someone who drives opportunities through to completion
