If you're looking for a Management Accountant role where you'll do more than produce month-end reports, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Joining a growing international business, you'll become an integral part of a finance team that's evolving alongside the organisation. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and senior leadership team, you'll provide the analysis and insight that helps shape commercial and operational decisions.
This is a broad role that offers plenty of variety. You'll split your time between management accounting, commercial analysis and business partnering, giving you exposure to multiple areas of the business while developing your own skills along the way.
Whether you're analysing margins, supporting budgets, reviewing cash flow or improving reporting processes, you'll play a key role in helping the business understand its financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll be doing
Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting for an overseas business unit. Analysing margins, sales performance and profitability trends. Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities. Monitoring working capital, including cash flow and inventory performance. Managing month-end accounting, including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets. Preparing financial information to support senior leadership and board reporting. Working closely with operational and commercial teams across the business. Supporting customer tenders with commercial and financial analysis. Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial controls. Supporting business improvement projects and wider finance initiatives.
What they're looking for
ACCA, ACA or CIMA part-qualified or QBE. Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Experience using ERP and accounting systems. A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail. Someone who enjoys building relationships with stakeholders across different departments. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues. Someone who's comfortable questioning existing processes and looking for ways to improve them.
Why apply?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that's investing in both its people and its finance function. You'll gain exposure to senior leadership, take ownership of meaningful analysis and play an active role in supporting business performance.
