This Management Accountant role is a broad, hands-on role offering genuine commercial exposure and the opportunity to influence performance across an international business. The business operates within a highly specialised niche, with significant investment in its intellectual property, technology and product development. Following a period of change, the business is now strengthening its finance function, creating an exciting opportunity to join at a key stage of its growth.
Description
A broad, hands-on Finance Manager role with responsibility for management accounts, budgeting and forecasting across the international group. You'll be expected to go beyond producing numbers - challenging variances, understanding operational drivers and partnering with stakeholders to improve performance. There's also a key systems and inventory focus as the business moves to a new manufacturing ERP, alongside the opportunity to take ownership of group consolidation and reporting as you settle into the role.
Key Responsibilities;
Producing monthly management accounts. Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Stock valuation and inventory accounting. Working closely with manufacturing teams to understand and analyse costs. Identifying opportunities to improve cost control and profitability. Preparing information for board reporting. Supporting ERP and finance system improvements. Providing commercially focused analysis and insight to senior management. Working across multiple international operations and currencies.
Profile
Qualified accountant (ideally CIMA) with proven Management Accountant experience Experience within a manufacturing environment Experience of working with overseas entities/ international exposure Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills A commercially minded approach
Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience. Flexible working hours however, this is 5 days per week in office 10% - 20% annual bonus, depending on independent and company performance
