Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid / Remote (UK-based) Team: Engineering Salary: Up to £45000 Reports to: VP of Engineering
You must be UK based and eligible to work.
About Our Client
Our client is one of Europe's fastest-growing software companies, on a mission to solve productivity problems for people-intensive industries using AI and automation. Since being founded, they've focused on automating the manual, tedious parts of complex workflows — consolidating entire industries' work into one sleek, integrated platform. Building alongside cutting-edge LLMs, they're pushing the boundaries of what AI agents can do in the real world.
They've been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK, and they take that seriously: pursuing innovation, championing employee wellbeing, and offering fast-paced growth in a supportive, transatlantic culture. Their engineering team is a group of thoughtful, collaborative professionals who care about quality, continuous improvement, and meaningful product outcomes — not just output.
As they enter their next stage of growth, they're looking for a talented Software Engineer to help build a platform used all day, every working day, by thousands of people.
The Role
You'll join a high-performing, collaborative engineering team building a product that modern industry professionals rely on constantly.
This is a startup with high standards, where engineers are trusted owners, strong collaborators, and thoughtful product contributors. You'll work across the stack, help shape the future of the architecture, and solve real customer problems with empathy and clarity.
If you enjoy breadth, autonomy, and impactful work, you'll thrive here — and it's an excellent opportunity for a top graduate looking to fast-track their engineering career in a high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain product features end-to-end Develop scalable backend services (Python) and intuitive frontend components (Svelte/jQuery) Own your work from design and implementation through testing and deployment Contribute to a high-quality, well-structured codebase — writing maintainable, predictable, readable code built for reliability and long-term health Collaborate closely with product, QA, and other engineers — asking clarifying questions early, seeking feedback, and communicating with precision Work with QA as partners in quality, not downstream testers Bring product thinking into engineering decisions — understanding why a feature matters and how it impacts customers Challenge assumptions, propose ideas, and help shape product direction
