Join Our Team as a Dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant! Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you! We are seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Scunthorpe (DN15) area. As an integral part of our inclusive learning environment, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they deserve to thrive academically and personally. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, fostering their learning and development.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapting materials to accommodate various learning styles.
- Create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, promoting confidence and independence among students.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's progress.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with SEN is preferred, but not essential. Passion and willingness to learn are valued!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable).
