A leading international law firm is seeking a Commercial Paralegal to join its growing Legal Delivery Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to build strong commercial legal experience within an innovative and flexible environment, supporting sophisticated clients on a broad range of commercial contracts work.
The role offers the opportunity to work remotely while gaining exposure to varied and challenging chargeable matters, working alongside experienced lawyers and client teams.
The Role
Drafting, reviewing and amending commercial contracts and related documentation. Supporting contract negotiations and progressing matters through to completion. Conducting legal and commercial research. Managing allocated tasks and matters with appropriate supervision. Liaising with lawyers, clients and other stakeholders. Managing competing priorities and ensuring deadlines are met. Working with precedents, playbooks and established processes. Maintaining accurate matter records and supporting reporting requirements. Using legal technology, AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and consistency. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working. Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting colleagues as required.
About You
Strong academic background, with a degree or equivalent preferred. Genuine interest in commercial law and commercial contracts. Previous exposure to commercial contracts or a professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership of work. Curious and enthusiastic with a genuine willingness to learn. Comfortable receiving and acting on feedback. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively. Comfortable learning and using new technology. An interest in legal technology, AI and innovative approaches to legal service delivery.
