Multiskilled (Electrical) Engineer | Kirkham
We are looking for an experienced Electrical biased Multiskilled Engineer to join a a leading UK manufacturer of Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements to health food stores, pharmacies, and groceries.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with the Engineering Manager on a daily basis to ensure machine 'down time' is kept to a minimum. Identify and solve day to day maintenance problems. Perform PPM (planned preventative maintenance) schedules as required. Accurately create and update relevant SOP's as necessary. Carry out maintenance activities on buildings, plant, and facilities to improve quality and cost effectiveness.
This list is not exhaustive and you will be expected to carry out additional duties where reasonable.
Requirements:
Time served engineer / recognised electrical engineering trade apprenticeship and/or HNC in electrical engineering. At least 2 years' electrical experience within the FMCG sector. Experience and a good understanding of PLCs, fault finding, 3 phase, DC motors, relays, contractors, sensors, and drives. GMP experience.
