ArchiCAD Architect - Residential Projects

About the role
Humphreys & Sons are looking for an ArchiCAD Architect to join their growing team, working on a varied portfolio of residential projects across London and Essex .
This is a hands-on role suited to an architect who enjoys being involved throughout the project lifecycle - from initial design and planning through to technical delivery and construction .
As part of a small, collaborative team, you'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of projects and work closely with clients, consultants and contractors.
Key responsibilities
Developing residential projects from concept through to construction Producing high-quality ArchiCAD drawings and models Preparing planning applications and technical packages Developing detailed construction information and specifications Coordinating with structural engineers, consultants and contractors Liaising with clients and supporting design development Assisting with Building Regulations and technical compliance Reviewing drawings and information during construction Attending site meetings and supporting project delivery
About you
We're looking for an architect with:
Strong ArchiCAD experience Professional experience within UK residential architecture Good understanding of the UK planning and Building Regulations process Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge Excellent communication and organisational skills The ability to work independently while contributing to a small team A practical, solutions-focused approach to design
Experience with extensions, refurbishments, loft conversions, new-build homes or residential developments would be particularly relevant.
