As a Qualified Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
• Reviewing VAT returns and assisting with bookkeeping assignments where required
• Managing your own portfolio of clients, providing practical advice and responding to day-to-day queries
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact
• Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team
• Working closely with Managers and Partners on a range of client assignments and advisory projects

The successful Qualified Accountant candidate will:

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
• Possess strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
• Be an excellent communicator, confident building long-term client relationships
• Be well organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple deadlines
• Have the ambition to continue developing their career within a successful and growing practice
