ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - PERMANENT JOB VACANCY AVAILABLE
Are you an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Service Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Service Engineer seeking a permanent job, and are you happy being out on the road daily?!
We are looking for an Electrical Engneer to join an engineering business based in Telford (Shropshire), the standard working hours for this job are day shifts Monday to Friday (39.25 hours per week) and the role comes with a basic salary up to £40,000 per annum, with the OTE over £50,000 per annum with overtime.
Overtime premiums are paid at T1/2 for anything worked over 39.25 hours in the week and on a Saturday, and double time on a Sunday.
As an Electrical Engineer you will be working out on the road daily, and although the business are based in Telford, this role will be covering the South of the UK so they are prepared to look at someone who lives in the South of the UK as well as someone who lives in or around the Shropshire area.
The hiring manager would like someone who has some PLC fault finding experience (preferably Siemens), and 17th or 18th Edition would also be highly advantageous.
You will also be entitled to the following benefits:

What You Will Do:
Carry out electrical service and engineering work as an Electrical Engineer on day shifts, keeping projects moving smoothly. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, maintaining strong safety standards throughout every task. Support scheduled maintenance and respond to on-site requirements to minimise downtime. Use practical knowledge to deliver consistent quality in electrical systems and installations. Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets and customer expectations. Maintain accurate records and follow site procedures to ensure compliance.
What You Will Bring:
Experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related electrical service role. PLC fault finding experience Confidence working to electrical safety standards and using sound diagnostic skills. A Full UK Driving license - ESSENTIAL A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to plan work and complete tasks to a high standard. Willingness to embrace overtime opportunities and deliver when extra coverage is needed.
