Excellent opportunity for a early-career salesperson or experienced chromatography analyst to join the technical sales team at a world leading scientific solutions distributor covering Ireland.
Our client provides industry leading analytical instrument consumables to scientific organisations across the globe. Joining their expanding sales team, you will support Account Managers & the wider sales team in a technical & consultative approach. This role will see you specifically focus on chromatography technologies used in the separation & characterisation of large molecules/biomolecules. You will utislise your previous technical experience with clients within the academic, pharmaceutical and research sectors.
You will provide a crucial interface between sales representatives and customers, ensuring the business responds to customer requirements and continues to offer the highest quality services and products to the market. You will attend and support events and conferences and remain abreast of competitor products and applications.
To be considered for this role you will need:
BSc in Chemistry/ Chemistry related subject or equivalent experience Irish Driver’s License Right to work in Ireland Practical knowledge/ equivalent experience of HPLC, GC systems Experience with small mol or large mol separation techniques (SEC, IEX, affinity etc) Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills Resilience and problem-solving skills
Enthusiastic and motivated scientists with expert knowledge of HPLC or associated techniques are encouraged to apply!
Prior experience in a technical sales role is advantageous, although not essential for candidates with the appropriate mass spectrometry and chromatography knowledge and aptitude to move into a commercial role.
