We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Shift Leader / Senior Support Worker to join our team at a 19 bedded residential home. Our facility specializes in providing care for individuals with physical disabilities, dementia and respite care.
What you’ll be Doing
Provide personalized care and support to residents Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation Implement and follow individualized care plans Support residents in developing social skills and participating in community activities Manage challenging behavior with patience and professionalism Monitor and report on residents' progress and well-being Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
What You’ll Need
Great communication and teamwork skills. A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to helping others. Experience working with Mental Health , Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviour Qualifications such as Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 In Health & Social Care. Must be trained in Moving & Handling.
