Tax Accountant £55,000 - £75,000 Liverpool Hybrid Working
We are seeking a qualified Tax Accountant to join a Statutory Accounting team within a growing international business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant with a solid background in both statutory reporting and tax.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of statutory accounts across multiple entities. Review of monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements. Management of tax compliance activities, including VAT, tax computations, filings and declarations. Ownership of deferred tax calculations and support with R&D tax claims. Liaison with external auditors and review of audit and tax deliverables. Support international tax compliance and reporting requirements. Manage and develop a small team of two finance professionals.
About You:
ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant. Ideally 3+ years PQE. Strong statutory accounting and audit experience. Confident with tax matters including tax computations, deferred tax and VAT compliance. Experience reviewing financial statements and working with external auditors. Previous team leadership or supervisory experience. International tax exposure would be advantageous.
This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring the quality, compliance and continuous improvement of the Group's statutory accounting and tax processes within a dynamic international environment.
