A Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience of Object-Orientated software design with C++ on Windows platforms and who has strong Mathematical skills will take ownership of key product developments working with cutting edge radar hardware for a thriving Technology Company with a focus on the design of complex data processing, distribution and display systems. Competitive Salary package and Hybrid working.
Bringing a strong academic history with an Engineering or Science Degree with a software bias, the successful Principal Software Engineer with have proven experience of leading project teams with the capability to deliver significant software developments, whilst working closely with end customers and users.
Requirements for the Principal Software Engineer include:
Extensive (12+ years) experience of software development on Windows platforms. Expertise in Object-Orientated Design in C++. Software related Degree. Strong Mathematical skills. Proven team leadership skills.
What will make your application stand out: Experience in the development of Security / Defence Command and Control (C2) software; using and manipulating GIS data; an understanding of RF/Electronics principles.
In this Principal Software Engineering role you will play a key part in enabling this exciting Company to deliver the capabilities that their next generation surveillance related products, steering the development of major new features.
