Our client, a leading name in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their Material Solutions department on a permanent basis. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with European and International Customs regulations, as well as local government agency requirements, thereby supporting the logistics and trade control team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the identification and classification of parts to ensure international shipping compliance. Support the maintenance of record-keeping systems and databases to comply with customs and international compliance requirements. Obtain necessary information from internal and external sources to ensure proper logistics coordination for imports and exports. Assist in reviewing and advising on applicable tax laws in countries where parts are exported. Support the preparation of documents and licenses with suppliers, vendors, attorneys, and government representatives. Interface with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, customs officers, and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipments. Validate controls and updates of records related to licenses expirations, amendments, and new applications.
Job Requirements:
Experience in risk and compliance within the aerospace sector or a related industry. BA in Business Administration, International Trade/Commerce, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of European Customs and International Customs regulations. Ability to maintain and support record-keeping systems and databases. Skills in obtaining and coordinating logistics information for imports and exports. Experience in preparing documents and licenses with various stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a safe, professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements.
