Project Manager - Chester - Hybrid - Manufacturing - £40,000 - £50,000
The Role
An established and manufacturing and communications business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and take ownership of delivering a wide range of commercial projects from concept through to installation.
Working with leading brands and organisations across the UK, you will manage the full project lifecycle, coordinating internal teams, suppliers, contractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in manufacturing, construction, fit-out, retail rollouts or similar industries to join a successful business delivering high-profile projects for well-known customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects from initial brief through to final completion Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations Coordinate design, production, logistics and installation activities Work closely with internal teams including design, manufacturing and operations Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and installation teams Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively Arrange site surveys and ensure all project requirements are captured Monitor quality, resolve issues and oversee final project sign-off Ensure all projects are delivered safely and in line with customer expectations Managing projects ranging from £10,000 - £100,000 whilst helping bring in over £1 million in revenue a year
The Candidate
You will have proven experience managing projects within a fast-paced delivery environment. You may come from a signage, manufacturing, construction, shopfitting, fit-out, print or engineering background and be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Essential experience:
Previous Project Management experience within a commercial environment Strong organisational and communication skills Experience managing suppliers, contractors or installation teams Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem solving Strong excel proficiency and other Project Management tools
Desirable experience:
Signage, print, manufacturing or fabrication background Experience with retail rollouts or multi-site projects Knowledge of site installations and health & safety processes
